Description
A romance set in Holland in 1672. Young Cornelius Van Baerle has found the secret of growing a black tulip, and he will soon claim the prize offered to the first person to produce black blooms. But Cornelius has a jealous neighbour, and in the tense political situation of that year, this man proves a dangerous enemy.
